Yeast Infection Medication – The Secrets “They” Don’t Want You To Know

So you want to learn more about yeast infection medication?  Well the first thing you need to know about it is it can potentially be toxic and cause a lot of unwanted side-effects.  Some common ones are increased itching, burning and swelling, just the things you’re looking to get rid of in the first place.  But if you still want to try them out and see how your body reacts to them, here are some for you to try out:

1.    Monistat

One of the most popular yeast infection medication treatments available is Monistat.  It comes in 1, 3 and 7 day treatment kits that are either creams or vaginal suppositories.  If you’re going to go with this, I’d suggest a 7 day kit, in my experience, that is the most effective of treatments.

2.    Boric Acid

A lot of over the counter yeast infection treatments contain boric acid, it is a powerful anti-yeast agent, although it has actually been linked to some deaths and is considered to be a toxin.  Not all products you pick up from the store are necessarily safe, especially if you’re pregnant.  But if you go with this, take one 600mg vaginal suppository each day for two weeks.

3.    Diflucan

Diflucan is a prescription medication which is also known as “fluconazole”.  Ask your doctor for it, they’ll prescribe you a daily dose of 100-150mg.  Usually you start off with a double dose on the first day with this.

So if you’re looking for a yeast infection medication, the above are some of your best options, but keep in mind that while these will treat your symptoms, they won’t kill the yeast spores in your body.  This means that if the spores flare up down the line, you’ll have another yeast infection to deal with.  If you want to kill off the spores and do so in a safe and effective way, you’ll be looking at a treatment more along these lines: click here for more on the treatment …

Want to get rid of yeast infection for good?  There’s nothing worse than an uninvited house guest that keeps coming round year after year, or even month after month!  But the good news is there are effective ways of keeping them at bay.  Here’s what you’re going to have to do to stave off that yeast:

1.    Drink Cranberry Juice

One way to get rid of yeast infection is to down 1-2 glasses of cranberry juice per day.  This stuff has been found in studies to prevent yeast infections and possibly even get rid of them.  How?  Well, there is something about the juice that prevents yeast from being able to cling to the body, so it essentially flushes out all the yeast.  It’s a yeast enema if you will, so put it to work for yourself!

2.    Buttermilk

This stuff is not something you’d pick up in the supermarket much if at all, but for our purposes, it won’t hurt to pick up a container or two.  This is loaded with healthy bacteria which is yeasts natural born enemy, the more bacteria you introduce into your body the better.  Drink 1-2 glasses of this a day as well and you’ll send that yeast packing.

3.    Garlic Bomb

Ok, this one will hit them where it hurts.  Cut out a section of garlic from a clove and wrap that in some gauze.  Twist it up and insert it vaginally and the garlic will begin to work it’s magic.  Garlic is a potent anti-yeast agent, leave it in overnight for best results.

Now these will all help you get rid of yeast infection symptoms, but to get rid of it for good, you’re going to need something that kills off the yeast spores in your body.  Without killing these, the yeast can pop back up at any time.  There are few products that get rid of the spores, this is one of them: click here to find out more …

Cure For Vaginal Yeast Infection

Filed under: Cures For Yeast Infections

Need a cure for vaginal yeast infection, don’t we all!  Well, maybe not all of us, but did you know that we all have yeast naturally occurring in our bodies?  It’s only when our naturally occurring bacteria dies off that the yeast starts growing out of control and wreaking havoc.  So how do we help restore a proper balance and restore our health?  Here’s how:

1.    Special Foods To Eat

If you’re looking for the cure for vaginal yeast infection, one way to go about it is to change your diet.  There are certain foods which if you eat will help to control the growth of the candida fungus, these foods include carrots, almonds, radishes, blackberries, lemon seeds, papaya, sauerkraut, onions and pineapple.  Eat these as often as possible!

2.    Goat’s Milk Yogurt?

Yup, drinking goats milk yogurt is going to help re-introduce a lot of healthy bacteria back into your body.  Instead of drinking this, you can also load up a spray bottle with it and apply it internally, within your vagina.  Keep spraying inside over the course of 1 hour and do this daily for the best results.

3.    Acidophilus

What is acidophilus?  It’s basically that same bacteria that we’ve been talking about, you can actually get it in powder form or capsules from some health food stores.  If you can find it, supplement your diet with it.

So if you’re looking for a cure for vaginal yeast infection, these will all clear you up within two weeks, however, these will not kill off the yeast spores.  Yeast spores remain in your system only to spring up at a future date and bring on another yeast infection, chronic yeast infection sufferers know this all too well.  There are few products which kill off the spores, if you want to kill them off though, this is one of the best solutions: click this link to check it out

1.    Chickweed

This yeast infection remedy isn’t talked about much, it can be found in a supplement store as an ointment or it can just be picked up as leaves.  If you get the leaves, chop them up and turn them into a paste with water.  Once you have the paste, or just the ointment, apply that to the affected area for immediate relief from itching.

2.    Aloe Vera Gel

This is another great solution for the itching.  Literally, as soon as this is applied you will feel instant relief!  Just make sure it’s a green clear liquid that is 99% pure, don’t get the aloe vera that looks like a paste.  Keep applying this daily and the itching should not be a major problem.

3.    Olive Leaf Extract

Ok, so here’s what we’re going to take to fight off the yeast.  Just pick it up in a 500mg cap concentration and start off taking 2 a day.  You can up this over time to 4-6 a day, check your tolerance, if you end up getting any flu-like symptoms lower the dosage or stop taking it all together.

So if you needed a yeast infection remedy, the above treatments will provide you some great immediate relief and the olive leaf extract will work to chip away at the yeast.  Now while you may be clear of the yeast infection, you will not have killed off the yeast spores, these will remain in your body dormant.  If they become active down the road, you will get another yeast infection, this is the problem for many chronic yeast infection sufferers, but it can be solved with solutions such as this: click here for more info

One of the most common questions asked is “Does a yeast infection cure actually exist?”… Well we’re going to look at not only one cure but several.  Some of these are natural and some of them not so natural, but all are working cures:

1.    Boric Acid Suppositories

This is one potent yeast infection cure.  In one study with 26 patients it was found that taking a 600mg suppository of boric acid daily alleviated the symptoms of 81% of those who took it for 14 days.  This is a pretty high success rate in comparison to Diflucan which is less than 50%.

2.    Fluconazole, Nystatin and Ketoconazole

What are these things?  These are yeast infection prescription medications.  If you want to know more about them and how they work, make sure you see your doctor and ask to have them prescribed to you.

3.    The Vitamin C + Cranberry Juice Combo

This combination packs a lot of power.  One of the reasons why you get yeast infections in the first place is due to your immune system being compromised.  By supplementing with vitamin C, you will help boost it back up and cranberry juice is great because it has been found to prevent yeast from sticking to the insides of your body, it basically flushes it out of your system.  Just make sure you’re taking cranberry juice with no added sugars, sugar will only feed the yeast.

Any of the above will work great as a yeast infection cure, you’ll be free of your symptoms in two weeks time using the above methods.  But if you’re looking for a faster cure that will also prevent all further yeast infections, you may need to look elsewhere.  The reason why some women get yeast infections over and over again is due to not killing off the yeast spores.  If you want to kill these off, you will need to go with a more powerful treatment method such as this: click here to see what it is

Cranberry juice may or may not be your cup of tea, but it does an excellent job of flushing out yeast.  It’s been shown in studies to prevent yeast infections and even treat them.  Just drink a glass or two a day and your system will begin to flush out the yeast from your mouth, intestines, urinary tract and everywhere else it may reside.

So what are some cures for yeast infections?  If you’re looking to be done with a yeast infection ASAP, you’re going to want to try out some of these techniques:

1.    Grapefruit Juice

One of the cures for yeast infections involves a simple grapefruit.  Believe it or not this simple fruit is one of the most powerful treatments you could have in your arsenal.  The juice has anti-fungal properties so all you need to do is cut off a slice and insert that vaginally to get the positive effects of it.  Do this overnight for the best results.  If you want, you can even drink some grapefruit juice to help things along.

2.    Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is another potent solution which you can pick up at almost any health food store.  Now the way we’re going to apply this is first dip a tampon into some olive oil to act as a base.  Once you’ve got this, simply place a few drops of tea tree oil over top of that and insert it vaginally.  Leave this in for at least 30-60 minutes for it to take effect.

3.    White Vinegar

Vinegar is a great anti-fungal agent.  All you need to do is pick up a douche from the supermarket and load it up with some white vinegar and some water to dilute it, you don’t want it too strong.  Then, simply administer it in a slow and steady stream to cleanse out the yeast.  Keep this up a few times a day for two weeks to see some results.

These cures for yeast infections will get rid of your symptoms but they will not kill off the yeast spores.  Yeast spores will remain in your body and it is possible for them to flare up down the road and bring on another yeast infection.  If you want to get rid of the yeast quickly and completely, you’ll need to look at a more powerful solution: Click this link to learn more…
