Looking for a natural yeast infection treatment that is going to get rid of the crazy itching, burning and swelling?  Dealing with yeast infections can be a pain, especially if you have chronic yeast infections, it’s like living with a curse.  So what are some ways of teaching these nasty yeasties a lesson?  Try out these tips:

1.    Potassium Sorbate

This natural yeast infection treatment is a rare little gem.  Pick up some potassium sorbate from home beer-making or wine-making stores.  Get out a cotton tampon and dip it into a 3% solution, so to get this, just mix about 15 grams of the Potassium Sorbate in a pint of wate, then insert that tampon vaginally.  Leave it in all night and keep this up for a week or two.

2.    The Yogurt-Water Douche

This is exactly what it sounds.  Get some sugar-free yogurt and mix that in with some water.  Then, using a douche, gently cleanse out your vaginal cavity.  Keep doing this daily and if you want to help things along, try eating the yogurt as well.

3.    Yakult

This is a supplement that will work to re-populate your bowels with tons of healthy bacteria.  Usually when you have a yeast infection, it’s also within your intestinal tract so introducing healthy bacteria here will help to fight off the yeast.

So if you need a natural yeast infection treatment, try out the above 3 and see which works best for you, you should be free of the symptoms in 2 weeks time however keep in mind that you will still have yeast spores in your system.  What does this mean?  It means you can get a re-occurrence of a yeast infection unless you kill the yeast spores off.  Very few treatments can kill these spores, this is one of the few that can : click here to check it out

Want to naturally cure yeast infection?  Store bought medications can cause a lot of problems, they can increase the itching, burning and swelling you experience and not to mention they can also be unsafe.  So considering that, what are some of the better natural remedies?  Well, I’ve been able to scrounge up some rare finds you likely won’t find anywhere else:

1.    Calendula

Calendula has been used for centuries and is an herbal remedy which will naturally cure yeast infection.  Pick it up at your local supplement store.

2.    Pau D’Arco Bark

This is another seldom talked about treatment which has antifungal properties.  If you’re able to find this, try supplementing with this as well.

3.    Chickweed

This is a treatment that you can either pick up as an ointment or as leaves.  If you pick up the leaves, just grind it up and add water to turn it into a paste.  Either way, rub this on and it will help to relieve the itching.

4.    Flaxseed Oil

Chalk full of Omega-3 and 6 fatty acids, this is one potent anti-fungal agent.  You should be getting these as part of a healthy diet so, you’ll not only be healthier for taking this in but you’ll also fight the yeast.

5.    Acidophilus

You can pick this up in powder or capsule form in a health food store and take it directly, or you can find this naturally occurring in milk and yogurt.  If you go with the latter option, the only thing you have to be careful of is taking in sugar, you want to limit your sugar intake.

So if you want to naturally cure yeast infection, those are 5 methods you can go about trying right now and see some benefits from.  But keep in mind that while these will clear up your infection, they will not kill off the yeast spores which will remain dormant in your body.  Very few treatments kill these off, however this treatment will kill these off too: click here to check it out

Natural Remedies For Yeast Infection

On the lookout for some natural remedies for yeast infection?  Well there are certain tried and true methods which are always going to be working and if you haven’t tried these yet, or even if you’ve heard about them, I’m going to go over them again with you since sometimes it takes repetition for things to sink in.

1.    Grapefruit

Grapefruit is one of the best natural remedies for yeast infection, it’s a potent anti-yeast food.  Just buy a grapefruit, cut it up into sections and insert a section vaginally.  Do this up to 3 times a day for 2 weeks and you’ll be in the clear.

2.    Yogurt

Good old sugar-free yogurt.  This cure is popular and for a reason, it just works!  Simply pick up some sugar free yogurt at the store as well as some tampons and when you get home, dip the tampon into the yogurt and insert that vaginally.  This will work to kill off the yeast in your system since the bacteria in the yogurt will naturally emit hydrogen peroxide which is a yeast killer.

3.    Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil works pretty similarly to the yogurt method.  You’re going to get a tampon and coat that first with olive oil, then place a couple of drops of tea tree oil on top of that.  The olive oil will act as a base so that the tea tree oil doesn’t get absorbed back into the tampon.  Once you have this, insert it vaginally, the tea tree oil will get to work at killing off the yeast.

Now while these are some of the best natural remedies for yeast infection, to truly get rid of yeast and stop it from returning, you need to kill off the yeast spores in your system. Very few treatments are able to do this.  If you want to get rid of yeast infections for good, you’ll need to try something more effective than even prescription meds : Click here to see what I’m talking about.

Interested in a natural remedy for yeast infection?  I’ve got a couple more up my sleeve to show you, all of these work and work well.  If you’re sick and tired of dealing with those nasty yeast infection symptoms, put these tips to work:

1.    The Yogurt Syringe

Ok, with this natural remedy for yeast infection, you’re going to fill up a syringe with some sugar-free yogurt.  Make sure it’s sugar free because if we use yogurt with sugar in it, we’ll wind up feeding the yeast and making things worse.  So once you have that syringe with the yogurt, insert that vaginally and slowly squeeze that in, the bacteria in the yogurt will kill of the yeast with it’s byproduct, hydrogen peroxide.  Keep this up until 2 days after your symptoms subside.

2.    Go Commando

Yup, believe it or not this can help get rid of your yeast infection.  Just stop wearing panties of any kind, it will allow for more airflow down there and yeast being an anaerobic creature, it can’t survive as well when there is oxygen around.  Also, when you go to bed, don’t wear anything under your night-gown.

3.    Sleep!

Since we’re on the topic, might as well mention to get more sleep!  Most of us these days don’t sleep anywhere near the 8 hours we need to function properly.  Now yeast infections happen when our immune systems are weakened and if you aren’t sleeping enough, this is one reason why it’s so weak.  Make sure you’re getting solid rest so you can boost your immune system and kill off that yeast.

On their own, each natural remedy for yeast infection is good, but combined, this is a great 3 punch combo to take down that yeast.  Just remember that this won’t address the yeast spores which will remain in your system.  If these spores become active again in the future, you will get another yeast infection.  There are only a few treatments which kill these spores, so if you’re interested in taking things a step further, you’ll want to check this out.

1.    Flaxseed Oil – Health Nuts Love This Stuff

Yup, one of the better home remedies for yeast infection is this product which is chalk full of essential fatty acids, IE: Omega-3’s and Omega-6’s.  Everyone needs these healthy fats as part of a balanced diet and not only will you be getting that with this stuff, but you’ll be getting a great anti-fungal formula.  Be warned though, this doesn’t taste too great!

2.    Hempseed Oil – No Marijuana Here

It’s not what you think!  This stuff is actually has twice the amount of essential fatty acids as flaxseed oil so it’s even better.  If you end up getting oily skin from too much of this, take in less.  You can also get these EFA’s as they call them from sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

3.    Aloe Vera Gel

This is just a great anti-itch product.  Make sure you get it in a clear green gel, that is 99% pure, not the green paste variety.  Whenever you feel an itch, put this on the affected area, it works wonders!

All of the above are great home remedies for yeast infection, however they are not going to kill off the yeast spores which will remain dormant in your body.  These spores can spring up at any time giving you another yeast infection.  There are only a few treatments that can get rid of the spores and this is one of them – Click Here to check it out.

What is the garlic shot?  Well, it sounds like something more for a guy than a girl, but if you can stomach this, it will work it’s wonders.  Just cut off a piece of garlic from a clove, making sure to remove the skin, chew this down and chase it with some milk or olive oil.  If you can’t stomach the milk or olive oil as a chaser, just use water.  These all will help to kill off the yeast in your system and if you do it 3 times a day with each meal, you will make a serious dent in that yeast’s armor.

3.    Olive Leaf Extract

Now this is something you might not have heard elsewhere, but picking up some olive leaf extract from the supplement store can really help you kill off the yeast in your system.  Start off with 2 500mg caps a day and move that up to 4 and at most 6 a day.  Now if you get any flu-like symptoms like diarrhea, headaches or fatigue, stop using it.
