Looking for a home cure for yeast infection that is just as powerful as the store bought variety?  There are a few methods used by women that are just as effective, not to mention a lot safer.  If you’re interested in going the natural route, you should definately consider trying one of the following techniques:

1.  Tea Tree Oil

This home cure for yeast infection can be found in your local supplement store.  All you have to do is pick this up as well as some K.Y. Jelly or Olive Oil(I’ll explain in a minute :) ).  What you’re going to do is wet half a tampon with the K.Y. Jelly(or olive oil), then apply a few drops of the tea tree oil to the top of that.  This prevents the tea tree oil from getting soaked into the tampon as opposed to remaining on the outside of it, so that it may be absorbed into the vagina.  Leave that in for a good while and repeat this daily.

2.  Honey

Yup, you can help cure your yeast infection with regular honey!  All you have to do is apply it to the OUTSIDE of your vagina and let it sit.  It will relieve all external symptoms, but don’t let any of it get inside of you!  The reason being that honey contains tons of sugar and sugar is yeast food.  You’d only worsen the situation if it got in there.  Once you’re done, carefully wash it off.

3.  Special Foods

This home cure for yeast infection simply requires you to change what you eat.  There are a few foods which can help treat your yeast infection naturally, and those are:

onions, radishes, pineapple, carrots, almonds, papya, pumpkin, cabbage, blackberries, lemon seeds and sauerkraut.

If you are not satisfied with the potency of the above methods, there is one other option.  In fact it is even better than store bought products since it gets to the root of the problem and kills the spores that cause yeast infections, thus preventing further outbreaks.  For more information on this natural home cure, click this link.
