Is there a way to cure yeast infections?  It’s a common question asked; for some there seems to be no end in sight but the fact remains that you don’t have to suffer continuously, there is a way out.  Most women are only aware of over the counter medication or prescription pills, but there is a whole other realm of relief which is even more effective than conventional treatments, try these tips out:

1.    The Boric Acid Hydrogen Peroxide Bomb

Ok, if you’re looking to cure yeast infections, this is the ultimate cure.  It combines two anti-yeast powerhouses, boric acid and hydrogen peroxide.  You see, boric acid is the main ingredient in a lot of over the counter yeast infection treatments as well as prescription meds…As for hydrogen peroxide, when you have enough healthy bacteria inside of you, this anti-yeast byproduct is plentiful to kill off enough of the yeast so that they doesn’t get out of control.  This is a form of treatment usually found in a lot of natural cures.

This treatment we’re devising however takes the best of both worlds and combines them together.  So what you’re going to do is mix a teaspoon of boric acid in with half a cup of hydrogen peroxide.  Give that a good mix and then add 2 liters of warm water to that.  The water must be warm in order for everything to mix properly.

Once this is done, all you need to do is then load a douche with this concoction and use it to cleanse out your vagina, every day.  Now I should mention that while this will cure yeast infections, this is still a pretty intense treatment.  Boric acid is not to be taken lightly, it is considered to be toxic and has actually been linked to some deaths.  Now chances are you’re not going to die by doing this, but just keep in mind this is not the healthiest of solutions.

Now while this will cure yeast infections pretty well, it will not kill off the yeast spores.  Yeast spores are what are responsible for recurring yeast infections, as long as they survive, another yeast infection can spring up at any time.  To get rid of these buggers, you’ll need even more firepower than this! Yeast Infection Medication – The Secrets “They” Don’t Want You To Know

So you want to learn more about yeast infection medication?  Well the first thing you need to know about it is it can potentially be toxic and cause a lot of unwanted side-effects.  Some common ones are increased itching, burning and swelling, just the things you’re looking to get rid of in the first place.  But if you still want to try them out and see how your body reacts to them, here are some for you to try out:

1.    Monistat

One of the most popular yeast infection medication treatments available is Monistat.  It comes in 1, 3 and 7 day treatment kits that are either creams or vaginal suppositories.  If you’re going to go with this, I’d suggest a 7 day kit, in my experience, that is the most effective of treatments.

2.    Boric Acid

A lot of over the counter yeast infection treatments contain boric acid, it is a powerful anti-yeast agent, although it has actually been linked to some deaths and is considered to be a toxin.  Not all products you pick up from the store are necessarily safe, especially if you’re pregnant.  But if you go with this, take one 600mg vaginal suppository each day for two weeks.

3.    Diflucan

Diflucan is a prescription medication which is also known as “fluconazole”.  Ask your doctor for it, they’ll prescribe you a daily dose of 100-150mg.  Usually you start off with a double dose on the first day with this.

So if you’re looking for a yeast infection medication, the above are some of your best options, but keep in mind that while these will treat your symptoms, they won’t kill the yeast spores in your body.  This means that if the spores flare up down the line, you’ll have another yeast infection to deal with.  If you want to kill off the spores and do so in a safe and effective way, you’ll be looking at a treatment more along these lines: click here for more on the treatment …
