Do you have a recurring yeast infection that just won’t quit?  Want to know the best way to keep those nasty yeast infections at bay so you can just go on living your life?  Many women and men suffer from chronic yeast infections, in fact one statistic states that it’s 17-26% of all women with yeast infections, that’s quite a chunk.  So what are some of the best ways to keep them from coming back?

1.    Prevention Is Key

Of course if you have a recurring yeast infection, prevention is going to be extremely important, but what does this include?

  • Towel  yourself dry thoroughly after showers, yeast love damp places
  • Use a blow drier…down there
  • Wipe from front to back when using the toilet
  • Don’t wear tight bottoms all the time
  • stop using scented perfumes or soaps down there

Those tips should be enough to get you moving in the right direction.

2.    Watch What you Eat!

Diet is so critical if you have a chronic yeast infection.  You want to limit your sugar intake substantially since sugar only feeds the yeast and makes the situation worse.  Also try and eat more yeast fighting foods like almonds, raw cabbage, radishes, carrots, sauerkraut, lemon seeds, blackberries and onions.

3.    Cranberry Juice

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, cranberry juice is perfect for preventing further yeast infections, it prevents yeast from being able to stick to the insides of your body, essentially flushing it out.

So if you have a recurring yeast infection, put the above tips to good use and you’ll find you get far fewer yeast infections.  But If you want to stop them completely, you’ll need something a bit more powerful, something which can kill the yeast spores that remain in your body.  These are responsible for your flare-ups.  To find out more about the yeast spores and how to stop them, click this link.
