3.    Aloe Vera Gel

This is just a great anti-itch product.  Make sure you get it in a clear green gel, that is 99% pure, not the green paste variety.  Whenever you feel an itch, put this on the affected area, it works wonders!

Remedies For Yeast Infection

There are several crazy remedies for yeast infection out there, but as crazy as they sound, they can actually work for some.  Besides, when you are suffering from the intense itching and burning, you’re willing to try just about anything!  If you’ve tried over the counter methods with little success or would just like to avoid them all together these solutions might be right up your alley.

The Yogurt Maneuver

Mmm, yogurt.  A tasty treat, but did you know it is also one of the home remedies for yeast infection?  Stranger yet, did you know that some Doctors may even suggest it as a home remedy?  You see, yogurt contains "Lactobacillus acidophilus" which is a bacteria naturally found in a healthy vagina.  This bacteria works to kill any yeasts via one of it’s byproducts, hydrogen peroxide. Just go out and buy some regular plain yogurt as well as a box of tampons.  When you get home, open up the yogurt, and have fun eating 2/3 of it With what you’ve got left, take out a tampon and coat it in the yogurt then place that inside of your vagina.  Do this twice a day.  Keep this treatment up until a day after you notice your yeast infection symptoms have disappeared.

Oh, and here’s a side note, if you have problems getting it inside, try freezing the yogurt coated tampon.  Then you got a yogurtsicle that will fit easily inside.  Although it may be cold, it can also be soothing!

Tea Tree Oil

Another one of the home remedies for yeast infection involves the use of tea tree oil.  You can find this at a natural food store or supplement store.  All you have to do is get a non-applicator kind of tampon and use a lubricant like olive oil or even K.Y. to wet the top portion of it. Once this is done, put a few drops of the tea tree oil on top and place that inside of your vagina.  The lubricant will stop the tea tree oil from being absorbed into the tampon so that more of it will go to where it is needed.  Be careful not to let any of the tea tree oil get on your vulva as that will sting a bit.
