Treating yeast infection is really simple so long as you know what you need to do.  There are plenty of ways you can get rid of the nasty yeasties and get back to just living your life, you just have to find a method that works well for your body.  I’m going to present to you 3 possibilities, just pick whatever vibes well with you:

1.    White Vinegar

Treating yeast infection with vinegar is pretty simple.  Just pick up a douche from the store and the vinegar of course.  Once you get home, mix the vinegar with some water to dilute it a bit, you’ll want to play around with the concentrations and find out which is most effective for you.  Once you’ve done that, load up the douche and administer it in a steady gentle flow.  This will cleanse you of all the bad yeast.

2.    Grapefruit Seed Extract

This solution you can pick up at a health food store.  Just place a few drops of this in water and drink it 3 times a day.  Another thing you can do is take a q-tip and dip it into the oil and apply that directly to the vaginal area.

3.    Veggies

Veggies are good for your diet and good for getting rid of yeast.  Why?  Because they are full of nutrients and antioxidants that will help boost your immune system up.  Yeast infections are often the result of a weak immune system, so anything that brings it up to the point it can fight off the yeast on it’s own is going to be good.

Treating yeast infection with one of the above methods will have you clear in about 2 weeks.  If you want to be clear sooner as well as prevent all further yeast infections, you’re going to have to look into something a bit more powerful.  One of the problems with most medications is they don’t kill off the yeast spores, this is why the yeast infection keeps on returning.  If you want to eliminate the spores, this is a good solution: click here for more info

How To Treat Yeast Infections – It’s Really Not That Difficult!

Wondering how to treat yeast infections?  Well wonder no more, that mystery is about to be solved!  I’ve gone over a lot of methods on this blog and what I find is sometimes it takes mentioning certain things a few times over for its importance to sink in.  So if you’ve heard of any of this before, take this as reinforcement to try it out and stick to it, because all these treatments will cure you if they are applied properly!

1.    Slippery Elm Bark

If you want to know how to treat yeast infections, using slippery elm bark is a great way.  Not only does it help with the itching, but also the burning and the swelling, it’s an all in one solution.  Simply pick up the powder from a health food store and add some water to it to turn it into a paste.  With that paste, apply that liberally to the affected area for immediate relief.

2.    Stay Dry!

It’s critical that you keep dry down there at all times if you want to get rid of the infection.  This means you need to towel yourself off well after showers, stop wearing tight jeans and pretty much go commando if at all possible.  The more ventilation down there the better.

3.    Yogurt, Yogurt Yogurt!

You knew it was coming didn’t you?  Hey, I wouldn’t be mentioning it if it didn’t work like gangbusters!  Just get some sugar free yogurt, dip a tampon into it and insert that vaginally overnight, the naturally occurring acidophilus bacteria in there will kill off the yeast.

So if you want to know how to treat yeast infections, these solutions should do the trick, but if you want to prevent all further yeast infections from occurring, that’s a different story.  You need to kill off the yeast spores in your body to ensure you don’t have to deal with this nonsense anymore, the only problem is very few treatments are able to do this successfully.  If you’re interested in finding a permanent solution, click here to learn more.

Treat Yeast Infection – Before It Treats You!

Need a simple way to treat yeast infection?  If I had to pick out a favorite way I’d go about getting the job done, here is what I would do.  This is not only easy to implement, but it also covers all the bases and handles the itching, burning and swelling in a comforting way:

1.    A Bowl Of Yogurt Cubes

If I were to treat a yeast infection, the first thing I’d do is get some sugar-free yogurt form the store and fill an ice cube tray with it.  Once it’s frozen, I’d take out a couple of cubes and place them into a bowl and apply that vaginally to instantly get some soothing relief for the yeast infection.  Not only is it soothing, but the bacteria in the yogurt will work to kill off the yeast in your body.

2.    The Garlic Twist

Once I’ve gotten some quick relief I’d get a clove of garlic, chop off a slice and twist that up in some gauze.  With that, I would insert it up near the cervix and leave that in overnight to kill off the nasty yeasties causing all the ruckus.  I’d keep doing this each night until two days after I notice my symptoms subside.

3.    Cranberry Juice

I’ve mentioned this before, but hey, “repetition is the mother of skill” –Tony Robbins.  I would also attack this problem from the inside by drinking cranberry juice to flush out the yeast.  Cranberry juice has a unique property about it which prevents yeast from clinging to your body.  So not only will it flush out the yeast you already have, but it will stop yeast from clinging on in the future if you keep drinking it.

So if you’ need to treat yeast infection, that’s one 3 pronged attack which works pretty well.  It will cure your symptoms, but of course, you may get a yeast infection again at some point.  Why?  Because nothing kills the yeast spores in your body and these can flare back up at any time.  Actually there is one product which kills off the spores, not many people know about it though: Click here to learn more

Treatment Of Yeast Infection

Now in your search for a working treatment of yeast infection, you may have come across a variety of methods, but the key is to pick a winner and stick with it long enough to see the results.  Often times someone will try something for only a few days and give up, or not apply the treatment consistently and then conclude it doesn’t work.  You’ve got to make sure you really put the cure to work to see the results.  So with that in mind, here is one of the top solutions out there that I want you to have a go at:

1.    Tea Tree Oil On A Stick

Tea tree oil is a popular treatment of yeast infection that has been used by many women to clear themselves of the dreaded yeasties.  Now if you want to ensure this works and works well, this is what you have to do:

  • Pickup some tea tree oil ointment from a health food store
  • Pickup a box of tampons
  • Pickup some olive oil or find some from the kitchen

Once you have all these, simply wet the tampon with the olive oil.  Don’t completely drench it, there’s a delicate balance you have to strike, you’ll figure it out after a few tries.

Once you have that base, apply a couple drops of tea tree oil on top of that.  In case you’re wondering, the reason we applied olive oil was to stop the tea tree oil from being absorbed into the tampon.

Now that we have this, just insert that vaginally, and leave that in for 45 minutes twice a day.  If you can’t find the time to do that, leave it in overnight each day.  Two weeks is usually enough to clear your yeast infection.

For the treatment of yeast infection, this will do the trick, however it will not kill off the yeast spores.  What are yeast spores?  Well, they are what remain once your symptoms have subsided; very few products are able to kill these off.  If you want to look into ways of preventing all future yeast infections, click here for more information.

Treating Yeast Infection – The Wild And Crazy Grapefruit Solution

April 15, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Yeast Infection Treatment

Treating yeast infection does not have to be a mystery.  There are plenty of effective ways of going about doing it, and today I’m going to focus on one very powerful way which I want you to give an honest shot.  This definitely ranks up there as one of the top natural cures, so pay close attention even if you may have heard this one before:

The Wild And Crazy Grapefruit Solution

There are two ways to go about treating yeast infection, either by re-introducing more healthy bacteria into the vagina to fight off the yeast and balance things out, or to just kill the overgrown yeast directly with an anti-yeast agent.  This solution is the latter.

Step 1:

Just pickup a nice ripe grapefruit from the supermarket, it doesn’t matter what kind but I use a red grapefruit.  Get the biggest one you can find…

Step 2:

Once you have it, take it home and cut it into sections, make the sections keeping in mind you want this to fit snuggly within your vagina, so cut them accordingly!

Step 3:

Once they’re cut, set aside 2 sections per day to insert vaginally for at least 45 minutes.  If you’re pressed for time, you can try just leaving one in overnight.

If you keep this simple technique up for two weeks time, you will definitely notice a difference, you will be flushing out that nasty yeast and feeling a lot healthier too.

When treating yeast infection via grapefruit therapy, you really can’t go wrong, just make sure you stick to it and be consistent and you’ll see the results.

Now while you will clear things up, I should mention that you will not have killed off all the yeast spores in your body.   This is why you can have future flare-ups when these spores get rowdy again.  There are only a few treatments that kill off the nasty spores, so if you’re looking for a way to do that, this is what I would recommend: click this link for more info

Treating yeast infections doesn’t have to be difficult, there are plenty of simple solutions that will work for you and get you clear of your symptoms in short order, you just have to have a plan of attack.  So what are the best ways to go about clearing things up?  Try these tips out and see how well they work out for you:

1.    The Grapefruit Slice

Treating yeast infections with a grapefruit slice can be quite effective since grapefruits have natural anti-yeast properties in them.  All you need to do is cut out a section of grapefruit and insert that vaginally.  Try leaving it in overnight for some good results and keep this up daily.  If you’re not seeing the results you’d like, try just inserting it twice daily for 30-60 minutes.

2.    The Yogurt Spray

This solution requires you find some sugar-free yogurt and load that up into a spray bottle.  Then, use that bottle to spray the yogurt inside of you repeatedly over the course of 1 hour.  Keep this up for 2 weeks time and you’ll be well in the clear.

3.    Tea Tree Oil On A Q-Tip

This is exactly what it sounds like, just pick up some tea tree oil from a health food store and dip a q-tip in it.  With the wet q-tip, apply this vaginally until you feel you’ve covered enough area with it.  Do this a couple times a day for 2 weeks.

Treating yeast infections with any of the above methods will lead to you being clear of your yeast infection, however they will not kill off the yeast spores in your body.  Very few treatments can kill these off, this is why you often times get recurring yeast infections.  To kill off the yeast spores, you’re going to need something more powerful:  Click here for a spore killing solution

Treatment For Yeast Infections

Looking for a treatment for yeast infections?  Look no further, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most potent as well as natural solutions you can put to use so that you can get some relief ASAP!  So without further ado, try out the following to get rid of that nasty yeast:

1.    Slippery Elm Bark

This is a potent treatment for yeast infections.  Not only does it help alleviate your itching, but it also helps with the swelling and burning sensations we know all too well.  Simply head over to a health food store and pick this up in powder form.  You can get lozenges too, but those aren’t as effective.  Simply add water to the powder and use the paste to the affected areas.

2.    Yogurt Cubes

Yogurt is great for yeast infections, as long as there is no sugar in it.  Just get some sugar free yogurt and fill up an ice cube tray with it.  After letting that freeze, you’ll then have some “relief cubes” you can apply to your vaginal area to help with the itchiness and swelling.  The fact that the cubes are cold will provide comfort and the naturally occurring bacteria inside will help kill off the yeast in your vagina.

3.    The Best Treatment Is Prevention!

The best way to keep yeast away is to make sure you don’t give it a reason to stick around.  So keep these tips in mind:

  • Don’t wear jeans which are too tight.  Yeast love cramped dark and moist places
  • Always wipe from front to back, despite what you may have been taught growing up
  • Bring an extra pair of panties if you go to the gym
  • Towel yourself dry thoroughly after showering.  Use a blow drier down there if you have to!

Now as treatment for yeast infections, these tips are great, but to really get rid of them for good, you will need to get to the root of the problem which is the yeast spores.  Very few treatments kill these buggers off which is why you can keep getting yeast infections over and over again.  To kill them off, you’ll need to check out other more powerful solutions: click here for more info

How To Treat A Yeast Infection

Want to learn how to treat a yeast infection?  There are many ways you can go about doing it, some are safe and all natural, then there is the store bought and prescription medication route which is a little more controversial.  We’re going to go into a few of the safer tactics right now which if you implement, should have you yeast free in no time:

1.    Caprylic Acid

One of the ways how to treat a yeast infection is with caprylic acid.  This is a natural yeast fighter which you can either find in capsule form or from within coconut oil.  If you go for the capsules, just visit your local health food store.   If instead you want to go for the more natural route, just get some virgin coconut oil and take about 3.5 tablespoons of that each day.

2.    Fermented Milk

Doesn’t sound too good does it?  It actually tastes like yogurt a bit, it’s something which is usually taken in Central Asia and Turkey.  You can either get this in ready-made drinks or you can make it yourself from kefir grains.  The latter is the better option, if you want to go that route there are places online you can pick them up and learn how to make it.

3.    Get Some Shut-Eye

One of the reasons you tend to get yeast infections is because your immune system has been weakened.  So what is a good way of boosting it back up?  Getting your 8 hours of sleep each day!  Many people don’t sleep as much as they should, 5, 6 or even 7 hours of sleep is not enough to keep your immune system at it’s peak condition.  So ensure you get some extra sleep to help fight off the yeast.

So if you wanted to learn how to treat a yeast infection, the above 3 tips should get you moving in the right direction.  But if you want to see results faster and learn how to prevent all further yeast infections so you never have to deal with this again, you will need to look into more powerful treatments.  There are a few of them out there and they all involve killing off the “yeast spores”.  To find out more about this, click this link.
