Looking for a treatment for yeast infections?  Look no further, I’ve compiled a list of some of the most potent as well as natural solutions you can put to use so that you can get some relief ASAP!  So without further ado, try out the following to get rid of that nasty yeast:

1.    Slippery Elm Bark

This is a potent treatment for yeast infections.  Not only does it help alleviate your itching, but it also helps with the swelling and burning sensations we know all too well.  Simply head over to a health food store and pick this up in powder form.  You can get lozenges too, but those aren’t as effective.  Simply add water to the powder and use the paste to the affected areas.

2.    Yogurt Cubes

Yogurt is great for yeast infections, as long as there is no sugar in it.  Just get some sugar free yogurt and fill up an ice cube tray with it.  After letting that freeze, you’ll then have some “relief cubes” you can apply to your vaginal area to help with the itchiness and swelling.  The fact that the cubes are cold will provide comfort and the naturally occurring bacteria inside will help kill off the yeast in your vagina.

3.    The Best Treatment Is Prevention!

The best way to keep yeast away is to make sure you don’t give it a reason to stick around.  So keep these tips in mind:

  • Don’t wear jeans which are too tight.  Yeast love cramped dark and moist places
  • Always wipe from front to back, despite what you may have been taught growing up
  • Bring an extra pair of panties if you go to the gym
  • Towel yourself dry thoroughly after showering.  Use a blow drier down there if you have to!

Now as treatment for yeast infections, these tips are great, but to really get rid of them for good, you will need to get to the root of the problem which is the yeast spores.  Very few treatments kill these buggers off which is why you can keep getting yeast infections over and over again.  To kill them off, you’ll need to check out other more powerful solutions: click here for more info

Need a natural yeast infection remedy that will free you from the intense itching and burning?  Well, I’ve got a big list of solutions here for you to choose from, so take a look, choose one or two and get to it, you should be yeast free in no time!

1.    Yogurt Syringe

Ok, with this yeast infection remedy, just get some sugar-free yogurt, load up a syringe and insert that vaginally 2-3 times a day.  The bacteria in the yogurt will help fight off the  nasty yeast.

2.    Avoid These!

Dried fruits, dairy products(other than the yogurt mentioned above), fruits, mushrooms, fish, red meat, alcohol and all breads!  Food can be a trigger for yeast, it the wrong foods and you’ll only help them along.

3.    Benadryl

This is an antihistamine you can take for the itching.

4.    Miconazole

This is a treatment which is in the form of a cream.  Just rub this on the genital region to help relieve the itching and burning.  You can use this in conjunction with other treatments to make it even more effective.

5.    Hempseed Oil

This is twice as concentrated in essential fatty acids than flaxseed oil which is another anti-yeast agent.  This is full of Omega-3 and Omega-6 fats and is not only going to fight off the yeast, but help balance out your diet.

Any of the above will work well as a natural yeast infection remedy but your best bet is to try several of these at once.  Your symptoms should clear in two weeks time, but you will still have the yeast spores within your body.  What does this mean?  It means at any time they may flare up bringing back the yeast infection with it’s symptoms.  There are a few products which can kill these spores off, this is one of them: click here for more info

Interested in a natural remedy for yeast infection?  I’ve got a couple more up my sleeve to show you, all of these work and work well.  If you’re sick and tired of dealing with those nasty yeast infection symptoms, put these tips to work:

1.    The Yogurt Syringe

Ok, with this natural remedy for yeast infection, you’re going to fill up a syringe with some sugar-free yogurt.  Make sure it’s sugar free because if we use yogurt with sugar in it, we’ll wind up feeding the yeast and making things worse.  So once you have that syringe with the yogurt, insert that vaginally and slowly squeeze that in, the bacteria in the yogurt will kill of the yeast with it’s byproduct, hydrogen peroxide.  Keep this up until 2 days after your symptoms subside.

2.    Go Commando

Yup, believe it or not this can help get rid of your yeast infection.  Just stop wearing panties of any kind, it will allow for more airflow down there and yeast being an anaerobic creature, it can’t survive as well when there is oxygen around.  Also, when you go to bed, don’t wear anything under your night-gown.

3.    Sleep!

Since we’re on the topic, might as well mention to get more sleep!  Most of us these days don’t sleep anywhere near the 8 hours we need to function properly.  Now yeast infections happen when our immune systems are weakened and if you aren’t sleeping enough, this is one reason why it’s so weak.  Make sure you’re getting solid rest so you can boost your immune system and kill off that yeast.

On their own, each natural remedy for yeast infection is good, but combined, this is a great 3 punch combo to take down that yeast.  Just remember that this won’t address the yeast spores which will remain in your system.  If these spores become active again in the future, you will get another yeast infection.  There are only a few treatments which kill these spores, so if you’re interested in taking things a step further, you’ll want to check this out.
