Yeast Infection Prevention
Yeast infection prevention is an important thing to have down so that you don’t wind up getting those blasted yeasties again and again. But what is the best way for you to keep them at bay? And if you’re a chronic yeast sufferer, is it even possible to get rid of that yeast completely? I’ll get to both of these questions, here now are some great ways to make sure you’re not stuck with the yeasties again:
1. Cranberry Juice
Cranberry juice does wonders for keeping the yeast at bay. It has been found in studies to be great for yeast infection prevention by preventing yeast from being able to stick to the inside walls of our body. What I mean by that is, it makes it hard for yeast to stick to our tongue and cheeks(known as oral thrush), our intestines, our urinal tract and vaginal cavity. Drink a glass or two a day and you will keep the yeast at bay.
2. Stay Dry!
Staying dry is critical important to yeast infection prevention, so keep these tips in mind:
- Make sure you towel dry after showering thoroughly, make use of a blow drier down there if necessary!
- Bring an extra pair of underwear to the gym
- Don’t wear jeans that are too tight
- Don’t wear underpants at night
3. Keep it Clean
What do I mean by “keep it clean”? Well, you first of all when you’re using the toilet you want to make sure you wipe from front to back, despite what you may have been brought up to do. This keeps you from accidentally contaminating yourself. Also, don’t use any soaps or scented perfumes down there, that will only irritate the area and cause a disturbance.
The above are some of the best yeast infection prevention measures you can take to ensure you keep the yeasties at bay. But if you absolutely want no chance of a yeast infection ever coming back, you need to kill the yeast spores which remain in your body. These spores are not killed by conventional treatments and when they flare up, you get the yeast infection all over again. To kill them off, you’ll need something that packs a bit of a punch: click here to see what I mean
